NOISE AND VIBRATION MANAGEMENT PLANS

Environmental Site Services develops noise and vibration management plans for construction and demolition, transport, entertainment events, airports and heliports and mine sites.

The majority of our clients require Noise and Vibration Management Plans for construction and demolition works.

Construction work taking place out of work hours (0700 to 1900 Monday to Saturday) requires a noise management plan as stipulated in the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997 or by the local council Chief Executive Officer if sensitive premises are identified in the area,

Construction work must be carried out in accordance with control of noise practices set out in section six of Australian Standard 2436-1981 “Guide to Noise Control on Construction, Maintenance and Demolition Sites”; the equipment used for the construction work must be the quietest reasonably available.

Environmental Site Services will fulfil builders requirements to submit a Noise Management Plan by:

• Submitting a Noise and Vibration Management Plan to the CEO at least seven days before the work

• Detailing the need for the work to be done out of hours, including timelines, equipment used, corrective actions and complaint response

• Detailing each task and noise emission expected and steps to mitigate the noise

• Monitoring requirements for noise and vibration

Environmental Site Services also provides noise monitoring and vibration monitoring hire equipment and technical advice.
